The Team
Clinical Force was founded and is currently managed by four founders with backgrounds combining life sciences, business re-engineering and information technology.
Christopher Broderick (1964) combines a background in electronic engineering and high-volume enterprise information systems with a passion for new web-based and object oriented architectures. His work deploying mission critical high-availability enterprise systems for companies in the Fortune 100 forms the basis for the scalable architecture of Clinical Force solutions. Christopher lives in Oxford, UK.
Les Taylor (1957) started in civil engineering then branched into software development before founding a number of successful international professional service firms in Europe and the USA. He successfully completed two roll-ups and two trade sales. With extensive experience in deploying large scale enterprise systems and multi-national business reengineering, he worked with top management of several high profile blue chip companies. Les lives in Brighton, UK.
Marcus Thornton (1973), worked for two biotechs and then founded two successful life science companies during the 1990’s. After fours years working for an international e-solutions consultancy in Europe, Marcus co-founded Clinical Force in 2003 to realize his vision for clinical trials management solutions. Marcus lives in London, UK.
Pete Gilchrist (1958) specializes in IT development and focuses on web-based and object oriented architectures. His innovative work for major multi-nationals in South Africa, New Zealand and Europe using XML to solve large-scale integration issues between hundreds of systems forms the basis for the open architecture of Clinical Force solutions. Pete lives in South Africa.
